Synopsis:
A documentary following Sandra who after 20 years of dancing loses her ability
to continue, physically. Sandra channels her energy and feelings of being
an outcast into mediums such as photography, installation, painting and
puppetry. This documentary explores the creative sparks that keep her going
and the bizarre worlds in which she invites us into. Mixing stop-motion
with an untraditional documentary style, Scardew is a tribute to an amazing
artist, woman and friend who profoundly inspires all who come into contact
with her and her work.
